Welcome back, Jedida Oneko. I've dealt with writer's block. Putting a project aside and working on a different one helps me sometimes.

I think it was David Lynch that said “when you’re inspired, write. When you’re uninspired, read”. Biographies and true life stuff can sometimes spark great ideas to explore.

Welcome back and you can use Ai as a tool to rid yourself of writers block. Promopt: Write me a Fantasy story with title. Or Write me a paragraph for your titled story.

Thanks Maurice Vaughan. You're right, stepping away has helped me take a different perspective :). Ewan, I like that too! I'll try that, there's a biography I've been meaning to read, I'll get right on that. Mark, I don't know why I shy away from AI, maybe cos I'm simply old school ...LOL, But as a former communications specialist I really do need to embrace new technology, hmpf!

Writer's block, for me, means I've strayed from my theme and the concept of the story. I give it time and go for a run to clear my mind. The crazy part is that about 20 minutes in, the needed dialog and sceens come flooding into my brain so that I have to stop and record. Any exercise will do, or dancing. :)
