Over 700,000 people seek treatment for addiction in the United States every day. There is hardly anyone who has not been affected by the ravages caused by the fallout of this misunderstood disease. It is a silent epidemic which is spreading worldwide and there are those who would profit from this deadly disease. It’s time for a change. And RECOVER is that spark for a change. What began as a feature documentary, has grown into a mission to reach all those who have and who continue to struggle with any kind of recovery and to arm them with knowledge to better help themselves as they go through the recovery system. RECOVER aims to expose the practices and all of the things not currently working, and to show the good people who are working so hard to actually treat people of a disease, which has claimed far too many lives.
