$lowdown (2011) | Saman Yaghmai-Aledavoud

This is a short film that I wrote, directed, and shot. It won the Golden Ace Award at the 2011 Las Vegas Film Festival and received nominations for the Best Short Film and Best Actor at the 2011 Noor Iranian Film Festival. Synopsis: In the midst of a recession, a quiet homeless man has taken it upon himself to befriend a charming young bank teller and, through an unexpected series of events, ultimately reveals the deeper connection. The film won the Golden Ace Award at the 2011 Las Vegas Film Festival and recieved nominations for Best Short Film and Best Actor at the 4th annual Noor Iranian Film Festival.
