The "smartXcellence" brand is defined by its future-oriented vision and extensive expertise which Welser Prolife shares with its customers at the very early stages of planning. The latest Welser forming technology of process-integrated strip thickness optimization defines new standards in the design of complex cross sections for open and closed special profiles far beyond conventional roll-forming. Using a joint strategy process as its basis, the development of the smartXcellence brand was carried out by the Vienna based advertising agency planB together with Welser Profile, and was awarded the intermedia-globe GOLD in the category Meeting Openers at the WorldMediaFestival in Hamburg 2011.
