In this vid I talk about how I'm going to present the blueprint to an original horror movie that introduces a new villain (or a new version of something) and that has the potential to go BEYOND the traditional slasher and be more of a theatrical experience! Well, Netflix is an option too.. But really, whoever is paying attention, this is something that is not just another B movie or slasher by numbers - as it elevates in so many different areas - Protagonist, villain, visuals, theme, characters, high-concept... Realistically, it's something that we've never seen before or read before when it comes to this genre. And something... that has the potential to really scare & captivate not just horror fans, but worldwide audiences - as well as leave them with a deep message. A potential word of mouth piece? But in a world filled with remakes & superhero films, how do you really do that? How do you write an original piece of horror that can compete and hold it's own against what is being greenlit today?
