Beneath The Wind

Beneath The Wind is a character-based short documentary film about three expats/foreigners living in Borneo. The film explores the relationship between these three individuals and the place they now find themselves living. Gary left his job as an English teacher-trainer to grow chillies and make chilli sauces. Artist Will has been living in Borneo for over 10 years and scratches a living selling his drawings of native animals and wildlife. Pete is an English teacher but has fallen in love with the Jungle and his new passion for butterflies. Ultimately the film explores identity and sense of place from the perspective of the outsider.
