This video is a work in progress and as such is still not completed. Any ideas or constructive criticism will be appreciated. The White Room was written and produced to show teachers how using Moviestorm, the software I made the video with, in the classroom can help both the students and the teachers to use their creativity to enhance the learning environment. In educational circles, this is called flipped learning through project based activities. We used a screenplay that I wrote along with an English teacher, Pauline who lives on Colorado. I live in Portland, Oregon. Pauline also did the voiceover for the teacher in the video, Ms Leblanc. I am looking for voiceover talent to do the roles of Ali and Joan. Ali is cast as an Arab boy with a heavy accent, to add to the multicultural aspect of the story. As you can tell, our voiceover for Ali is distinctly British because it was done in the UK. I hired a voiceover actress to do Maria. I am thinking that she over played the role a bit and as such it is too slow. I am preparing to morph her voice and speed it up 12%. This will make her sound younger and also pick up the pace some. I already know it needs better credits and the sound effects are too soft to be heard clearly.
