Derrick Damions is Ashley Staford circa 1846. The film is inspired by the true story of the birth of a noted religion in very upstate New York that made it's way out west and created it's mark in history...or did it? This scene takes place after Ashley has been continuously up for nearly three days feverishly writing scripture. He's interrupted by his doting footman with an unannounced visit from the town pastor who's rather upset that his flock has left, then he abruptly finds out Ashley's also deflowered his niece amongst other virtues.
