Happy New Year, friends! I’m new again to Stage 32 and really excited to connect with new people and learn! I'm also currently seeking new literary and talent management for myself and the projects I'm developing, a heartfelt and personal mental health episodic dramedy and a lighter escapist dramedy, both for television. I’m best known for mental health and social impact narratives, making people laugh, and my work to make sets more sustainable. I’m also a mental health first aider and the Founder of Set Intentions.

Happy New Year, Katie Rotolo, and welcome back to the community! Oh, cool - what a great initiative right now! I'm actually writing a pilot about compassion fatigue in caretaking careers, so I can totally identify with your mission. Actually, if you have a moment, I'd love for you to post in the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing) a little about how you incorporate your mission into your productions.
If you're seeking representation, definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives (or managers, in your case): J.Mirch@stage32.com
Okay, last question - what is a "mental health first aider" and are they certified the same way others are certified in First Aid?

Hi, Katie Rotolo. Great to meet you. Your episodic dramedy about mental health sounds intriguing.

Hi Katie! I too just finished a personally inspired seven-part steaming epic screenplay dealing with the effects of childhood trauma and questionable reality. I hope we all get a chance to experience what you have to share.

Thanks very much Karen "Kay" Ross! I really appreciate your insight. I will share on the Producing Lounge and connect with Jason today.
As far as Mental Health First Aiders, yes there's a certification "Mental Health First Aid Certified" by National Council For Behavioral Health. I'm also "V-A-R Certified" with Active Minds. Essentially, I lead peer processing groups with film and creative pros, and refer people to mental health resources.
