Perfecting Your 5 Minute Pitch For The Cannes Film Festival

In this exclusive 2-part Stage 32 pitch workshop, a select group of only 10 attendees will work one-on-one with international producer/distributor Alexia Melocchi to craft your perfect five-minute pitch just in time for the renowned Cannes Film Festival.

In the first session, Alexia will go over critical components of what makes a good pitch and provide a roadmap to structure your pitch. You will pitch your project to Alexia and then she will work with you directly and discuss what works and what doesn’t. Alexia will offer direct feedback to strengthen your pitch.

In the second session, a few days before The Cannes Film Festival, you will pitch Alexia again, having finessed and made your pitch stronger and more effective based on her guidance. Alexia will provide more feedback on your new pitch and further guidance on how to strengthen it even more for the Festival.

If you've spent the time and expenses to attend The Cannes Film Festival, you do not want to miss this rare opportunity to make sure your 5-minute pitch sells you and your project effectively!

Alexia, Thank you so much for this great class! Such a wonderful opportunity! Thank you also to Heidi for pitching first and sitting in on the class. It was great to hear so many wonderful pitches from around the world and with such a variety of subject matters. Thanks, Zel

Great opportunity! Executives' time in Cannes is at an absolute premium, so refining your pitch to its most concise form is essential.

Richard "RB" Botto

Completely agree with Ewan Dunbar. I've seen so many at Cannes blow their opportunity by being unprepared. Also have watched many an exec's eyes gloss over listening to unwieldy pitches.

Alexia Melocchi

Zel Anders you were a rockstar! I really love the world you described and drew us in at the get go.

Alexia Melocchi

Richard "RB" Botto - love hanging with you in Cannes- the panel we shared a few years back was fabulous. Crowdsourcing..and myself and Amanda and Harry Lowell.

Alexia Melocchi

Ewan Dunbar - especially if the do not do the homework on the people they are pitching to and/or not understanding how cultural and language difference can affect delivery :)

Richard "RB" Botto

That was one hell of a panel, Alexia Melocchi. Looking forward to seeing you at Cannes in a few weeks!
