Expand commentSuzanne Bronson Sorry to hear that, and there are so many experiences in programs that can be lackluster, and sometimes not the greatest, but for myself, what I have learned, and remembered after some time out of school, is that it doesn’t make you:) you’re an actor, just if you keep going, audition, and…act. And I actually read and experienced other methods and am a much more happy and well rounded and confident actor now than I ever was in school.

Working with actors who want to give themselves all to the point they feel uncontrollable and desperate is a solution for disaster. and very painful to watch ... The acting profession requires detachment to some degree in order to work with others as a team and also learning from life that is around.
