The good news is the T.V. finales are finished. The bad news is film production is disrupted and nobody will be looking at my scripts at this moment. On a positive, when the strike is over probably by the fall before the new T.V. season starts I should have my next script ready to market.

The last writers strike did not impact me much because I did not have anything to market, but now I have several things I would like to sell.

Enough about me, let's hope that those working steady in the industry can reach a resolution quickly. Although we may think that everybody in the entertainment industry is rich, that is far from the truth, and many writers need paychecks coming in like the regular worker, and as the saying goes, everybody is only two paychecks away from turning their world up side down, working in entertainment is no different.

Hello from Georgia. Originally a Northern Girl, I am a self-published author/screenwriter. I write but won't limit myself to urban fantasy, the supernatural, contemporary drama, and suspense. I recently returned to school and earned a Degree in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. I have looked into obtaining a Degree in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing and Journalism. Before he died, I promised one of my sons I would continue writing and not give up. So here I am in awe and looking to learn all I can.

I'm a member of Full Sail's Creative Writing Club, the Christian Filmmaker's Club, the Content Creators Club, the Black Student Union Club, and the Atlanta Writers Club. My self-published works include “The Remnants of God – Book I," " The Remnants of God Narratives-Book II," "The Paradox," and "D.O.A.”

After watching the recent Netflix Webinar, I cringed when the narrator said writers are sometimes procrastinators. It felt like she was talking to me. With that, I was compelled to get moving. I'm healing from a broken wrist which has created another obstacle to overcome; however, I refuse to allow it to hinder my goals. I've created a portfolio on Wix and have a website where I blog daily inspirational nuggets. Transitioning from writing novels to scripts is challenging but exciting. I'm in it for the long haul because I understand that nothing happens overnight.

I look forward to building a lasting network/relationship and learning from each of you.

I have been on Stage 32 for a while now.

I had a script consulting for a short script a couple of years ago, and now the short "Her new self" has been selected at the Lift-Off film festival and is undergoing selection at 24fps International (Texas) (and other 9 festivals). I keep my fingers crossed!

I also finished the adaptation of one of my novels (finalist for Planeta Award) into a script (in Spanish), if there's out there any Latin-American director looking for new material, contact me!
