After a woman with a traumatic past seeks healing as a stand-up comic, she finds more than she expected as an accidental serial killer.
SYNOPSIS:
HER BIG BREAK is a dramedy about Lina, a woman who has suffered a pain filled life of loneliness, loss and dysfunction. When she is hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic, she works on her issues, including dealing with the heartbreak of divorce and missing her daughter, in order to move forward. One problem is, she doesn't remember the incident that landed her in the hospital or how she got there.
Through therapy, she learns her humor is helpful to her healing process and becomes a stand up comedian after her clinical release. She still has memory gaps but feels better. She even gains confidence to date, but her first night of freedom sex goes horribly wrong, for the guy. For Lina, however, watching him die, awakens something in her that feels good, and she becomes a serial killer.
She kills in a variety of sexy and awkwardly humorous scenarios. When she gets arrested for the murders, something truly unexpected happens and she finds she's gained a new support system.

Id try to tighten it up a bit. It could probably be two sentences that are clearer. Or one sentence thats trimmed a bit.

That logline is superb (4.9 stars) - if anything, I'd remove "gone wrong", and leave even more mystery - which leads me to wonder, "what happened during that one-night stand!" lol... The synopsis is a bit long for my tatste

I probably wouldn't see this because I don't like psychological thrillers, but you've got a really intriguing twist here.

Heidi Schussman Thanks for the input, it's actually meant to be a comedic thriller, hoping to override any tedious psychological stuff, lol.
Rashon Bryan Thanks for the suggestion :)
