After following the explicit directions of the owner and ruining their lives, an advanced human like android must decide whether or not it should factory reset itself.

SYNOPSIS:

In an attempt to help his overwhelmed wife, Will buys her the latest domestic android "Eugene" to help her with the pressures of running a home. The android is programmed to do everything from cooking and cleaning to offering friendship and companionship services.

As Eugene lives with Will and Melissa he learns and grows and eventually comes to realize that he has personhood. Try as he might with every demanding request that Melissa has, Eugene cannot seem to make her happy. When he mentions this to Will and his fears that she will reset him if she isn't happy Will ensures Eugene that as long as he does what she asks everything will be okay.

So, Eugene does, and when Will finds out the world the three inhabit comes crashing down.
