Serdar Arslanağız Do you think you could tighten up the logline a bit? Something like:

Five friends, fresh out of college struggle to establish (respective? tech? acting? media? banking?) careers, while antagonized by ruthless competitors and the famously congested, ever-changing city of New York.

Robin Gregory Thank you for your advice. The logline is a bit long; however, the show's engine is more complex than it seems. Although the series is fundamentally low-conflict, it explores a wide range of topics, from humorous and simple banter among friends to unusual anomalies. Each episode, the five friends find themselves in unexpectedly challenging situations. I think this type of logline reflects that better.

TOO LONG!

Serdar Arslanağız It's your series, and you must do what feels right. My current mentor says the loglines are more for the writer to use as a through line for theme, emotions, characterization, tone, etc. But they can also be useful when pitching a project. Good luck, my friend.
