I've been writing all my life, first poetry, then articles for the school newspaper. I've even written lyrics to a Carlos Santana instrumental though he refuses to use it.

Later and professionally, I'm a published author with articles and books in finance. It was just a matter of time until I discovered screenwriting. That was about 6 six years ago, and WOW, what a trip this has been! I don't think I have ever done anything so difficult AND rewarding at the same time. I think screenplay writers are destined for self-punishment. The creative part is immensely satisfying but only if it leads to being produced, and that is the scary part. To vindicate that I wasn't totally wasting my time I've entered a myriad of screenplay competitions to assure myself my writing wasn't awful. Thirty awards later with an increasing quality of awards, I have some assurance that if someone finds me, then something good should come from it. Since I started, I've written 3 features and a series of 15, one-hour episodes about a horrendously difficult subject, theology, in the form of the 16th century Protestant Reformation. I have learned an immense amount from that, which in itself has been worth the trip. All of those log lines and synopses are here for all to read.
