Hi Marc - We aren't casting/working on a film project at the. moment. We are looking for already completed films to be submitting to the above link. If you have worked on any short films recently please let the directors know about the festival so they can submit!
On Film Freeway says that you only accept films shot on iPhone or Alexa? Unless they are your sponsors, I think this it's crazy. I could not submit my film since it was shot on RED.
It doesn't say it has to be shot on an iPhone or Alexa. Those were just a couple of examples in a descriptive paragraph...
Cool!
Thanks for sharing Becky! I'd love to submit my short film to this. I also just sent you a networking request.

I can get you a house with a swimming pool. DM for details if you are still interested.

Cool looking forward to it. We'll be a little late coming from another meeting :) It'll be nice to meet you later tonight Stephen!
See you there!
Was this last Wednesday or it is coming up on the Nov 13?
It is every Wednesday with an occasional night off. If you don't see a meetup notice here by early afternoon, it probably means we're taking the week off...

Saw the Stage 32 message about the relocation when we were just about home. Are you planning on moving the venue permanently or is Le Petit Four a better place to hold future meetings?

Expand commentits a good post but I do not agree with number 7 about references for example I have worked with people who are just out of school who are passionate about making films but lack experience just like myself and they worked better then some people I know who have 4 to 6 years experience behind them on way larger sets same goes for when I'm casting actors I make it a mission to find up and comers who may or may not have experience behind them but are in most cases I have encountered better suited for the roles I am casting ... I now have working relationships with a bunch of guys who are up and coming no references behind them who trained with me in college or were part of another local college and we all have each others backs we help each other out and because we are all on the same level professionally there tends to be less egotism and demands then on other sets I have been on but that is just my opinion and personal story
Nice post, Sean. Appreciate you sharing. Definitely something to think about.
