By Shafiq Ahmad Setak

GENRE: Action, Adventure
LOGLINE:

Following a triumphant mission against the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, Haron, a former Afghan secret service officer now working for the CIA, confronts a dangerous dilemma. Threatened by his ex-KGB mentors, he must outmaneuver the Russians while safeguarding his loyalty to the Americans, entangling himself in a high-stakes struggle for his destiny.

SYNOPSIS:

Haron, once a struggling agent in the Afghan Communist Regime's Secret Service, defects to the CIA after enduring humiliation during KGB training in Moscow. Overcoming the challenges of marksmanship with his left hand, he immerses himself in American training and infiltrates the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.

Assigned to thwart a smuggling attempt of American-made Stinger missiles, Haron's success propels him into fame among the Taliban and Al-Qaeda affiliates. He becomes an instructor for Al-Qaeda tankers, seizing the opportunity to gather critical intelligence.

Upon returning to New York, Haron faces blackmail from Dmitry Vavilov, his former KGB instructor. Dmitry pressures Haron to betray the Americans, leading to a dramatic rescue operation when his wife is abducted during their honeymoon in the Bahamas.

Refusing to cooperate, Haron, now hampered by a disabling injury to his right hand, confronts Dmitry using his left hand in their final showdown. The ensuing clash reveals the superiority of the CIA's training over the KGB's, as Haron emerges victorious.

The FBI apprehends Dmitry, dismantling a dangerous network of Russian agents and mafia operating within the US for years. "Crossfire Catalyst" unfolds as a thrilling tale of espionage, loyalty, and the pursuit of justice in the covert world of international intelligence.

Reading the screenplay. At page23. If this is only the first draft, this is going to be an awesome screenplay. Only one note: in parenthetical direction never cap the first word.
