The last thing fresh-off-the-ashram Ursula Stone expected to find coming home from her lengthy spiritual quest was a new brother… Much less Oliver Stern, a failing libertarian man-child trying to make it as a Doomsday Prep Consultant.
Fortunately for our mystic mama, she also could not have predicted that the mock portfolio her white-collar crook of a dad taught her to trade as a kid… Well, it wasn’t a ‘mock’ portfolio at all. So when following 2008 she decided to short the Patriarchy in favor of market disruptors like Bitcoin as a ‘cute hedge’ against the evil 1%, not only did her portfolio soar, but it also hedged her against arrogant dick-head know-it-alls like her new step-brother Oliver. Namaste!
Yet despite their differences--and no doubt to save their newlywed parents from a certain series of small coronary infarctions--Ursula and Oliver decide to play nice and launch “Stone & Stern Alternative Venture Capital” catering to the Conscious, Conspiracy, and Crypto communities.
If you tittered a bit and want to read more, we’d be glad to send the script.

Expand commentAlways a much debated topic. I had this conversation again very recently. Living in NYC, female performers were always referred to as "actors", then I moved to Los Angeles where I was corrected by a producer who said, "Here you are an actress." I think it's up to your own personal preference. I don't correct people if they call me either. I'm a professional performer. "Actor", "Actress", both are correct.
