A runaway kitsune causes trouble for Clive and his crew when the rest of her pack come looking for her.
SYNOPSIS:
While on vacation in Japan, the Clive, Marcus, and J-Wolf (an actual werewolf) stumble upon a Shinto shrine in Kyoto dedicated to Japanese fox spirits called kitsune. Clive, bored with the vacation, wishes for something interesting to happen, not realizing that a kitsune has climbed into his backpack.
After a brief scuffle with TSA agents at the airport Stateside, Clive (now revealed to be a "famous paranormal documentarian") and his crew return home to their headquarters - a barn in a large open field in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Upon removing his backpack from his van, Clive discovers the kitsune, who transforms into a beautiful (albeit, naked) girl, startling the group.
After providing the kitsune, Kihana, with some clothes, Clive pleads with his crew to let Kihana stay with them. Unfortunately, Kihana reveals she left home without alerting her family, who now think Clive and his crew have kidnapped her.
A small pack of kitsune led by Kihana's father, Hogan, arrives and destroys Clive's van, while the group negotiates an arrangement that would please everybody. Kihana wants adventure, Clive wants to live, and Marcus and J-Wolf just want Hogan to leave. Hogan agrees to let Kihana stay with them on the condition that they can keep her safe, and the pack of kitsune leaves. Clive begins to regret his recent decision as he assesses the damage to his home and van, while Kihana acclimates herself to the human world.
Clive later attempts to scour his database archives for any information on kitsune and how to get rid of them. Kihana enters his computer lab to thank him for letting her join him and announces that she will be sleeping on the edge of his bed from now on (like having a pet dog around the house).
Footage of Clive's encounter with Hogan's kitsune pack goes viral, but not in the way Clive would've wanted.
