Film & TV Pro is now switched back to the Mandy banner apparently. I've never gotten work through either, but I have gotten a gig through Stage32

Stage32 is a great free option. Mandy.com is great, but they charge now as well. other options include linkedin and general social media across several platforms linking back to your website. Craigslist can be hit or miss. general networking is still the best way to get work. go to events, meet new people, talk about your current projects, etc. once you have an established network, it will work for you.

My son uses Mandy to get sound recoding jobs and has done well with it for a few years.

Hi Peter, I'm looking into some far-outside-the-box experimental ideas for a project myself. i.e. Hiring VO actors via Fiverr.com to read lines, then working with animation software that synchs VO audio to lip movements. So animation would be a suggestion to get some scripts out there. You'd be amazed how AUTOMATED and user-friendly some animation apps are now. Gone are the days of needing to illustrate to animate. These apps also feature a variety of customizable background options, and even film realistic lighting. Another suggestion would be to get a basic business license, as a film production company. This should qualify you to hire college interns - in exchange for credit, because FILM majors are usually required to complete an internship in order to graduate. As your reputation for treating interns with respect and giving them cool projects grows, you'll find greater interest in your company. Since sadly, some companies try to take advantage of these eager-to-learn students by giving them grunt work, instead of growth work, like they're supposed to. Good luck!

Connor, I have two half hour shows for you. Both were aired on public access and one was a beach music festival. The other is a fun take on Elvis Presley. They are not online as far as I know so no link. Yours to use. The festival show won public access version on an Emmy. Both are fun family shows.

I have something but it's def not G-Rated.

That's fantastic! Best of luck to you Abigail. Cousin of mine was in a film that showed at Cannes years ago and a close friend was part of a crew (animator) that won an award at Cannes in the 1980's.

H All! I can't say for script submissions but I can say there have been movies I have skipped and books I have avoided because I was turned off by the title even though they had excellent reviews. I feel a title can make a difference in either direction.

Title is very, very important I believe. We're prejudiced to it. It's like when I'm flicking through my movies TV guide to select what to watch and record the title will give me an immediate impression of what genre it is. Based upon that I'll choose if I want to click a button to read a quick synopsis of it or not. Hence the decision to make the decision is made in a heartbeat based upon the title.
