SYNOPSIS:

FACT; IN 2002, THE U.S. MILITARY KILLED A 14 FOOT, 1100 POUND, RED-HAIRED GIANT IN THE MOUNTAINS OF AFGHANISTAN. FACT; WHEN THEN 8-YEAR-OLD AMANDA FRANKLIN HAD AN OTHERWORLDLY EXPERIENCE IN HER FATHER’S CHURCH IT WAS JUST THE BEGINNING OF HER AWAKENING TO BATTLE THE RAPHAIM GIANTS, DEMONS.AND MORE. Fast-forward 18 years, AMANDA is a 20-something-year-old army sniper/preacher's kid stationed in Afghanistan. What would be a usual night for her unit is disrupted when a HERDER rushes toward their base, signaling wildly for help. Amanda is forced to shoot him in the leg, after which point the unit learns he was running from giants-- actual giants of biblical proportions. Amanda's unit is put in charge of investigation/containing the situation and when they affirm that they are dealing with real monsters, they are assigned an above-top-secret task of protecting the world from their wrath. As the only believer in her unit, Amanda's biblical knowledge becomes indispensable to the mission. Along with commandeered man-of-faith-and-science SETH WATERS, she leads the strategy under the Agnostic MAJOR STRYKER. Amanda uses what she can remember from her father's teachings, some tidbits from brief phone calls between them, and spot-readings of the bible to gather intel. At the same time, she realizes she has a special understanding and rapport with these creatures that others on the mission do not. Meanwhile, demons summoned by power-hungry Russian agents and evil priests have joined the fray and plot to unleash Armageddon on the world. As the supernatural activity goes global, Amanda's military unit joins forces with the Russian Spetsnaz to keep it under control. While the giants are tracked, ARCH DEMON AKIBEEL leaves in his wake a trail of portals that spew demonic chaos. Amanda struggles to maintain the confidence of her unit and is forced to defend her belief while losing friends to the fight. She hearkens back to a moment in her youth when she first encountered demonic activity and used the power of her faith to overcome it. It is then that she realizes she's had all that it took to defeat the forces of darkness-- belief.
