I am looking to meet new people in the industry, make contacts and get to work on cool productions and for cool prod. companies/producers. I have had extensive training and education in Videomaking for the last 10 years. I got a Master's degree (filmmaking) in Hollywood, USA and a Bachelor's in Wales, UK (film &video production). I have also experienced videomaking in Greece and Belgium where I currently live. cheers

Welcome to the community, and best of luck furthering your career in the UK!
Hi George. I'm just writing a pitch for a TV series set in Edinburgh. Good luck with the move. Might have to come visit ;)

I am a working music writer/producer with years of experience and only fairly recently took up the role of screenwriter due to a passion-in-waiting. I am now completely obsessed and have been working on a pilot for a new TV series that I am hoping to pitch really soon. I have had some analyses done, with some very very positive feedback, and done several re-writes, all of which have been honing and focusing the script, and now I am very very close to be on the lookout for an agent who may be interested in me and my project/concept/ideas/madness, so I/we can get this happening!! I am keeping it pretty close to my chest, as it's one of those ideas that if I don't do it - someone else will!! But I will say, it is a mystery/drama, featuring a strong lead female character, and has some very humorous as well as shocking, and dramatically bold moments, creating a roller-coaster of a ride! :) If you are an agent - and you're looking for something with a bit of guts... get in touch! Watch out world - I'll be out there soon!!
Hi Adrienne, nice post! Good luck with your pitch when the time comes.
Hey thank you! I'm very new to this site... so still finding my way around... (like any new social media site I guess...) I didn't get the notification of your reply though... bit annoying...
PS. I talk to myself too haha
Pilots are the new specs for existing shows.
Thanks for sharing this with us, JL! It's interesting to see what's currently in the mix, along with the names attached to each. I find it to be quite motivating! Those interested in writing for TV should persevere! : )
Anyone know if there's a UK complete guide to TV Pilots 2016?
"Charity Case" looks like the best comedy premise of the lot.
Hi Oliver. Well I know they're definitely written, and even shot... sometimes... not always - and not always aired... I guess I meant I was after knowing what series (and/or pilots for series) are in development/production etc.
