It’s 1960 when a young girl, Lula Sophia, from the mountains of Appalachia, with the DNA of a Biblical heroine begins a journey that will span multi-generations.

Eighteen-year-old Lu flees with her High School sweetheart Ben, after her mother succumbs to cancer and her estranged father returns and attempts to rape her. Lu and Ben end up in Chicago and marry. Each pursues their dream, Lu to become a famous singer and Ben a Police Officer. They are inseparable and believe; together they can accomplish anything. However, Lu is aware of the mission she’s inherited; to protect women and children, a mission she is reluctant to accept.

The newlywed’s normal life is disrupted when Mickey, head of the mob in Chicago becomes infatuated with Lu during her singing debut at a Club. He obsesses over Lu and will stop at nothing to own her. After a failed attempt to kidnap Lu, due to the intervention of Pree, Lu’s guardian angel, Mickey threatens Ben. He continues to frighten Lu by stalking her. Ben is set up as a weapons dealer by the F.B.I. in order to infiltrate Mickey’s organization. Ben hopes to help imprison Mickey and keep Lu safe. Lu is upset as her and Ben are separated, and she must depend on the F.B.I. to protect her. She is alone and vulnerable and heads to L.A. for a singing audition in hopes she can escape Mickey until he is arrested.

Unknown to Lu, A.J., Mickey’s stepmother, is also the descendant of Jezebel (arch enemy of Lydia’s descendants) and has been hell-bent on stopping Lu from carrying out her mission, striking in every direction she can, including Lu’s marriage. Just as Lu has a league of angels to assist with her calling, Jezebel controls a team of demons known as the demon dynasty. Their mission is to expand the business of sex as a commodity, worldwide.

Gradually, Lu discovers the ability to sense the presence of angels and demons and realizes her visions may serve as insights into the future. She learns from the descendant’s diaries, practices her martial arts and marksmanship and embraces her faith. After witnessing the horrors of sex trafficking, she chooses service over her believed gift of singing and embraces her mission. Once she pledges to protect women and children from the forces of evil, she’s immersed in an age- old conflict between two supernatural powers. She soon discovers that being the modern-day descendant of Lydia of Thyatira comes with life altering responsibilities and sacrifices. Pree guides her, along with four diverse, mystical angels, when possible and Lu experiences the influences of angels, realizing they are not always available to protect her or others. Lu engages with demons (each uniquely gross and diverse) celestially and on earth. Angel and demon interaction occur amongst humans on earth and through celestial wars.

Lu must evolve into a spiritual and physical warrior as she is held hostage by Mickey. Then she discovers A.J. is Mickey's stepmother and the descendant of Jezebel. She must escape Mickey, survive a plot A.J. orchestrated against her that is worse than death, save her husband and rescue innocent women and children from the clutches of A.J. and her demon dynasty.

The choices Lu makes and the battles she wins will pave the way for her daughter, Liddi (1990) and future descendants; Jess (2020) and Eve (2040). Each must complete specific, newfound missions with the goal of abolishing sex crimes against women and children by 2060 to prevent the extinction of the female gender, thus all of humanity.
