About Sherry
S.G. Savage is an award winning Community Educator, writer and producer of several training programs for families, educators and businesses. She is an avid speaker and writer. Her undergraduate work is in communications and social studies. Graduate Studies, Public Administration at the University of Kentucky. Ms. Savage's 25-year career focused on creating progressive programs and advocating for justice for women and children. She thrives on encouraging others and especially making the world a better place for families.
I advocated for families by dealing with; injustices from domestic violence, poverty and sexual abuse, then realized women and children were suffering now more than ever. I expanded my education beyond Graduate School and began focusing on writing Women's Fiction then screenwriting five years ago. Creating stories that are not only entertaining but prompt conversations and facilitate change for the better is my number one goal.
I merged my passion with purpose in a debut fiction novel series, Lydia's League of Angels. Since my desire was to bring the stories to screen, I shifted my focus from marketing novels to writing a TV series spanning four generations of heroines in addition to writing feature scripts for the series.
Writing female driven stories is my full time endeavor with genres ranging from fantasy's to dramedy's and Rom-Coms.
