MILLION DOLLAR HIGH

MILLION DOLLAR HIGH
By Jerry Robbins

GENRE: Adventure, Comedy
LOGLINE:

Two high school freshmen go on a spending spree when they find a suitcase containing 4.5 million dollars, unaware that the Mob is on their trail to get the money back.

SYNOPSIS:

Zachary and Noah, two high school freshmen considered dorks by the cool kids, find a suitcase filled with 4.5 million dollars. When they discover an attached tracking device, they decide to give the owner one day to claim it. After hearing nothing, the boys flex their newfound purchasing power with a shiny Corvette for one, and for the other, a bodyguard named Dodga to keep the school bullies away. But the tracking device indeed works, and two hit men from the Mob hunt down the boys and capture them. When they refuse to turn over the money, it's cement shoes in the lake for our heroes! While the Mob men are off to buy cement, the kids escape and head for the school, where they had hidden the money in the air vents of the building. The Mobsters arrive at the school posing as substitute teachers in an attempt to re-capture the boys; but when the air conditioning fails, the whole-school fan is activated, and the million-five explodes throughout the building to the deafening sounds of delighted students and teachers alike!

Packed with action, laughter and high stakes as the boys struggle to keep their million-dollar secret from their parents, friends, teachers, and the Mob, "Million Dollar High" will appeal to a wide audience.

Like 2004's Millions, but with High Schoolers, slap-stick comedy, the mob, and less ethics quandary.

I thought I recognized the plot in a more serious film, but this one seems hilariously entertaining!
