Nowadays, it's easy to say "the future is now." Technological advancements, the intrusion of hyper-conglomerate institutions in all sectors of society, baffle the minds of today's population. Still, world-citizens go about their daily activities, enjoying the fruits of these powerful behemoths. Some of these entities are mostly secret, preferring to stay this way so they can continue doing their "work," so to speak - undisturbed.

One such nefarious, corrupt organization is NEOGEN. This abominable corporate colossus has existed in secret for a few centuries. Today they have their tentacles in all sectors of society, some being bio-medical research, food, the military, law-enforcement, geo-politics, financial institutions, just to name a few.

The average citizen might work for NeoGen and have no clue; case in point detective SHADOE NAVARRONE. And there are others who are an integral part of NeoGen, intricately enmeshed, for example, Sergeant EVELINA MASSO. Shadoe has a mysterious scar running from the base of his neck down to his tailbone. This puzzles him. He can't recall how he got it. In fact, he can't remember anything, because he suffers from amnesia - of a typical kind: No memory of himself, but only of possessing special outlier sleuth skills....and a memory of someone, - Evelina Masso.

Shadoe, intent on unraveling his personal mysteries, partners with Evelina. Together they solve all kinds of cases from the dark and deviant, to the bizarre, for example, unsolved murders, intelligence gathering, (aka spying), recovering stolen top-secret devices bordering on science-fiction, all the way to cannibalism.

But every progress Shadoe makes to bring his history to light - Evelina covertly blocks. Why? Because she has secrets that, if Shadoe unearths, will reveal their shared connection to his past and the reasons for his medical condition. These secrets will also get Shadoe killed by the ungodly organization they are intertwined with - NeoGen.
