Let this serve as the forum for the final season. How will it end? Who survives? Will Walt get his? Will Jesse ever break free? Will Junior eat lunch instead of breakfast? Will Marie wear any other color besides purple? Discuss!

So who will be attending the GAPF this coming weekend? I'm speaking on Saturday...Looking forward to meeting many 32'ers face to face! RB
The hardest part is to not give up and keep following up with the companies. Just because they don't reply back I always send a reminder email next week. Some even said "keep bugging me." So maybe it's a test of dedication also.
Following up is part of the bargain...And part of every screenwriter's job. Gotta be regimented and persistent - without being overbearing, of course.
I was there, too! Got six requests out of about 15 pitches. Long lines kept me from doing more. Sorry i didn't meet any of you. Next time!
Hey! Welcome to Stage 32 :)
Love the avatar, BTW. Huge SW fans in our house! Hubby just got the first half of his Darth Vader armor yesterday, actually (we're joining the 501st).
Good evening, everyone! I'm heading to California for GAPF (pitchfest.com) this year, and taking an extra day to visit with a local friend. She told me to start figuring out what's on my must-see list while I'm in town. Anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you!!!
OK...Let's talk about em'... Biggest shock for me...No John Hawkes in the acting category for The Sessions. Terrible. Also surprised, given the DGA noms and all the Critics Choice awards, no Bigelow for Best Director. Upside - The love for Beasts of the Southern Wild, the love for Life of Pi, the 3 acting noms for The Master. What say you? RB
I got my one wish - for Amour to get a nomination. I think that will top my list of movies for quite some time. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to see most of the others, yet - though we do want to!
It's fair to say I'm a big fan of this week's announcement... "There's going to be a new Star Wars movie in 2015 and I'm as excited as all get out about that and, sorry George, I'm glad you're not directly involved." http://rwhyde.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/star-wars-7-reawakening-of-fanboy.... Who do you think should write and direct the new Star Wars film?
I would love to see Joss Whedon do it. He already has a good relationship with Disney, and he would be simply awesome. Second choice? Dave Filoni. What do you think of Star Wars: Detours, btw?

I'm a professor at Full Sail University and I have a B.A. in advertising/public relations and an M.F.A. in creative writing (thesis was a screenplay). I'm an aspiring screenwriter, and while I wait until I sell that first script I'm working on an interview series (as host, creator, producer, you name it!) called Open Dialogue. I interview industry professionals from all areas of the entertainment industry to give our students (and the public) an inside look at how things get done. My first two interviews were with Sam Witwer and Charlaine Harris, within days of each other, and it's been just as exciting since! I love to critique screenplays and to network, and to just chat about the industry. Feel free to contact me on here, and to follow me on Twitter (@WendyMMoore). Talk to you again soon!
Welcome! Looks like you're near my neck of the woods! I'm in Clearwater!

L.A. - that magnet scene was hilarious, you must admit. Talk about far-fetched, but I agree with you, I went with it and thought it was one of the best series ever.

If the book receives 1,000 votes, SOOP (Something Or Other Publishing) will publish the book and help promote it. Go to http://soopllc.com/blog/book-ideas/bad-cure-addiction-lee-eide/ to vote. I blogged about every "Bad" episode and how Walter White's actions reflect the inherent dangers of an egocentric mindset.
