Well, you've been missing out being away from the Stage 32 community - glad you're back! Just watched your dramatic reel on your profile - really well done. The opening footage was really awesome, and the outdoor footage was great - the lighting was awesome to capture the brown/hazel eyes - great directing by the director.

Thank you for the welcoming reintroduction to the community and the kind words regarding the footage. I've certainly been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with many amazing collaborators through the years so far. Looking forward to teaming up with each of them again, as well as expanding that circle along the way towards continuing to grow in the craft and business! =D

Legends of Tomorrow - Mick Rory is the man!

Karen "Kay" Ross Kay, I definitely get where you're coming from on King of the Hill - it's tough when a series is set somewhere you're from and you can tell how accurate it really is. For example, I'm originally from Ohio (and been all over the Midwestern region) and when I watch shows that are set there and hear characters talking about getting a "soda" I'm always going "we call it pop there!" Seinfeld is definitely one that you could watch from beginning to end - so many memorable episodes and while they are mostly independent, some of them do move the world forward and call back to earlier ones. Have a great rest of your weekend!

Tabitha Abney Love that you're a costumer! It's an underappreciated craft - it's amazing how a great costume helps realize the vision of a character, and an actor truly feel like the character they are playing. I'm also a huge sci-fi person and would love to work in that genre too.

John Ellis DUDE! SUCH a fun show! One of my LA friends is a WA/Writer on Legends and she convinced me to go back and give it another shot ( I couldn't get through season 1). We watched the first two and last two episodes of Season 1 and hopped over to Season 2 and never looked back - HA! I definitely appreciate that Mick is committed to being Mick. Totally unapologetic.

So glad you introduced yourself! I died laughing at the wet basement commercial in your commercial reel. Oh my. And, that DOWN shot you used for the opening of your reel was a great choice, too. Glad you're venturing out into writing and producing, too. We all have to be creative and stay active now to keep our brains going : )

Dan, really incredible work. You know how to use the camera as the other actor in the scene, which adds intensity and ups the stakes for everyone involved. As an actor, you're the kind of director and DP I want to work with more. Kudos!

Thanks everyone for the great advice! So I've got a mic and it's been really good for the self tapes that have been coming in. I've also been putting my phone on airplane mode and having a rug between me and the camera when filming. All this has made a huge difference, so thank you!!!
