Since it’s about the war I was in, in Bosnia 1992, and a refugee kid, and a new immigrant to this amazing country USA, writing these events brought me to tears, but good tears. Guys I’m sharing this because as I was writing the events where I slept at a refugee camp, ate donated food, only had a mattress to sleep on, wore clothes out of a dumpster and much more, I remember feeling and thinking back then if I was ever going to make it out of there. That was all I knew and all I saw, bullets, bombs, and being broke. This is life, right? But now as I sit here and n my comfortable sofa I looked back and smile. A painful childhood is an adults motivation. Once my parents brought me to America and said “this is the best we can do, ur life is in ur hands now” at age 13 I began to work and never stopped... when something scared you, you will work twice as hard to never go back. Anything is possible and high goals are hard to achieve, but what else are you going to do in life? That’s right! Not give up!
Maló Polite Xavier thank you very much! I wish you the same, much luck on your journey.
Dragana, what a triumphant story! God has truly blessed to be in your right mind and have the capacity to do make art. What a blessing you are to the Stage 32 Community. I pray for great success in your upcoming :)
Luemisher James thank you so much! It’s a pleasure meeting you!

Expand postHello Jon! Thank you for sharing your experiences in the audition rooms, it is incredibly invaluable. I would like to quickly share what my short time on Stage 32 has done for me. First off, I have had more AH HA moments than Oprah. From the beginning, RB has so passionately explained that we need to pursue what we do as our own Entrepreneur. I was uncertain at first how this entire process worked and was very apprehensive, but RB put me into that mindset from the get go. I'm one of those people who want to know how all facets of the industry works, so when the opportunity comes my way, I can speak intelligently about the business. Stage 32 has allowed me to do that. Amanda is wonderful as the voice behind the webinars, Nick is the master of scripts, Taylor is the solar energy, always, and Jason is a plethora of knowledge. I am a screenwriter, and my confidence is building to the point that I am almost ready to start pitching my first three completed scripts, just started number four. From a writers perspective I need to show, don't tell. From an actors perspective I need to tell, don't ask. I want to be a complete ball of wisdom with each step I take, and I can do that with Stage 32. Every step gets me all fired up! So thank you!
Absolutely love this! Thank you for sharing!
Hello everyone! I'm happy to be here and read/see all the amazing things you all are creating. It is a breath of fresh air to be in a place where the industry seems to still be thriving... I know it's been rough on all of us since the pandemic started. Looking forward to collaborations, and new friends!
Thanks for replying! I hope you and all your people are well!!!
Welcome to the club. :)

Why do we write? Having a human experience is something we all crave. We have the tools at our disposal to create anything we desire. Life is a dream, we are the dreamers, and if we focus on what we love, it can bring joy and direction to the world. We can live and write in any way we want. We can be, have, or do anything, we are limitless. We feel inspired by doing what we love, with passion in our hearts, it’s the most amazing thing in the world to share. Having someone appreciate our craft is the most fulfilling gift of all. I’m sure you all feel the same way that I do.
Keep moving forward no matter what!

I just had my book: Change Your Life, Change Your Career or Job published on Google Play Books. I am hoping to help people with information about finding a job, or even change their careers.
I wonder.... Does anyone think we could use this as a comedy about the problems of job interviewing? I have observed NUMEROUS people making huge mistakes during the interview process.
Welcome! And RB is certainly is great!

Expand postI'm Lia Beltrami. I started making documentaries in 1991, 29 years ago. In these years I have shot over 40 documentaries, selected in 169 festivals and won 44 awards. There is a common thread in everything I do: try to bring hope and tell stories of "flowers in the desert". I shot in war zones, followed human trafficking routes, and worked with abused girls.
I have told stories of psortives that have inspired many people. In these 29 years I have enriched myself with an enormous amount of human experience, I have dealt with evil and good, I have saved myself from dangers. In all of this, the first question people ask me is: how do you manage to finance projects? I could talk about this for days. Some points just to start:
I'm looking for foundations and partner associations, to whom I propose to support the documentary in exchange for some short promotional videos (this works);
I link a social campaign to the documentary;
I'm looking for some private sponsors who believe in the project.
Sometimes you find the whole budget, other times you adapt to sleep on the ground. It 'also happened to use the money for color correction to buy mattresses for children on the run.
If you are interested we can investigate many parts. Good job in the search for truth.
Since you haven't starved to death during the past 29 years - I think you've already answered your own question. It sounds like a difficult way to earn a living but it also sounds like a truly satisfying career choice.
Lia - you are awesome! What an amazing 29 yrs. You are truly living.
Doug you are right and Brent, yes I'm really happy now. I think true freedom requests choices and renunciations, but it is worthy.
