I've been waiting over a year to share this with everyone. I recorded this on a fantastic directed session with Kaitlyn Guerrero, Nadya Sugiarto, Stacy Moon, and Susan Huang of Mochi Productions. This was their Senior Project for their University competition - The Ringling College of Art and Design - and it took the Gold Juror's Award Best of Ringling out of an Amazing list of animated presentations by a wonderfully creative Senior Class.

I signed an NDA for this because this project was destined for entry into a veritable host of Film Festivals over this past Summer into the Fall and achieving the Finals and Official Selections at several of them - Lift Off Global Network's 2020 Toronto and Tokyo, Australasia's Film Festival of Time: Sci-Fi/Animation/Horror, the Toyama International Film Festival, LA Asia Film Fest, the Rhode Island International Film Festival, New York Animation Film Awards, the Lady Filmmakers Festival, Balinale Film Festival, and the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific Filmfest.

Hey everyone, happy Introduce Yourself Weekend! I'm a writer and indie filmmaker from Seattle, WA with a day job in corporate video production. I've got several feature-length scripts and many, many short scripts, along with a few short films I've done with friends or on my own. Drop a line and say hi!

In the course of submitting auditions across the Voice Over industry I receive audition invitations which ask for various accents from all over the World. Usually these

are for character voice work for Animations, Serialized Fiction Podcasts, Videogames, and Audiobooks but sometimes I get these in the Business/Commercial realm as well.

These are all always great fun and Fiercely competitive as you might expect but I definitely throw myself "into the part" whenever I get the chance to audition for them. There's ample precedent in the Entertainment industry of actors portraying characters outside of their own nationality and this definitely applies in VO work as well.

Indeed, it's always an ego boost to be awarded the project, so I've always felt that I should audition for roles I know I can perform. Since, I've performed characters from all over the World already it's always worth the effort to audition for roles outside of my nationality.

Not all career fields need a warm-up routine, but in the world of Voice Over work I certainly do. It's very difficult and ill-advised to open up the first audition script of the day, click "Record", and just start reading.

No. That's how mistakes and frustrations start the day.

So, typically, I'll rehearse the script several times first to get my voice warmed up in addition to reciting monologues from memory. One trick to help with diction is to read the lines with a pencil in my mouth (learned that from my days on stage).

My most recent Voice Over work was recorded during a great directed session with agencies Stephen Vidano Films, Inc. and ColdWater Media in Colorado. A series of Biblical instructional videos with my Trans-Atlantic accent and they look great so far. Here’s one, enjoy

Climate Pro is a fantastic company in San Francisco with a wonderful array of window treatment products. Unlike many voice over projects I actually dealt directly with the company on this spot as opposed to an advertising agency, and it was great. They knew exactly how they wanted it done and expressed it so clearly to me I did it in one take. That’s always fantastic let me tell you…

Dassault Systemes is a French software company. They are best known for their 3D design, 3D digital mock-up, and product lifecycle management (PLM) software. But, they also have a manufacturing division as well and it was a privilege for me to narrate this short web explainer for them.

I recorded this live on a Skype directed session a few years ago with the clients in Medellin, Colombia. It was for a new office building for real estate company, Cantagirone, the latest in a series of real estate developments going back many years. This was my first international directed session and it was great fun! I love the background music they chose as well. Great!

I recorded this narration last year. This was for Unitron Discover, a hearing aid company with a great product. This 60 second spot was one of nine total scripts I worked on for them. The team on this was wonderful to work with and I look forward to future projects for them!

One of my latest Voice Over projects was for the very popular and very useful product, Swiffer. At Swiffer, safe cleaning products are very much their priority. All their product ingredients are tested to ensure that Swiffer is safe to use all day, every day. I recorded this over a great directed session with Jeffrey Ballou and his team at Upstream 360 in Ohio. They had a clear vision of what they needed for their client. Their direction was easy to follow. It was my privilege to work with them and I look forward to the next project!

Repeat clients are Amazing! My latest Voice Over project for Dell EMC was just released. I recorded this on a fantastic directed session with their team recently, and I look forward to working with them again – a very fine group of professionals!

Dell EMC and their team have been wonderful clients and they are Great to work with on directed sessions. I look forward to the next project with them soon. This particular explainer is a great example of a Business-to-Business application. This one is directed at Technical and IT Managers of businesses.
