Hi Kinney, thanks for your question. Yes, ideally it would be cast with minorities. The features stick close to the text so the casting should do the same. It is written into the screenplay.
Happy to share that I just took my first meeting with a production company that wants to turn one of my 60 minute pilots into a feature. Discussed the contract for a detailed feature synopsis (3 drafts) and the first right of refusal for the script and they are excited to work with me/looking to move on this. Definitely some welcome news!!
