SYNOPSIS:

The show is about a series of massive earthquakes destroying much of the western US and much of Mexico. The government sends troops in to restore order and give aid. Now as the US is weakened two of her enemies Cuba and Iran, who have been secretly working together to develop super silent nuclear subs, decide to attack. Launching from a secret base in Cuba the subs approach the East Coast undetected. The subs launch missiles on US naval ports and ocean shore towns and cities all up and down the coast. As the government tries to find out who is responsible for the attacks, foreign aid is cut off. People fleeing the west head east. People fleeing the east head west and north to Canada. As chaos reigns supreme, lawlessness and organized crime syndicates take over the nation. The series follows the Lucas family, Steven (35), Jenny (34) and their children. Daughter Liberty (10), son Justice (9) and daughter Rose (4) as they have to defend their solar powered apartment building against local mobsters who are after a neighbor for gambling debts. As they invade the building the tenants defend themselves with deadly force. Now the Lucas' and their neighbors have to decide whether to abandon the building, as they expect more mob attacks and looters looking for electricity, or stay and defend what is theirs. They know eventually they will have to leave.
