SYNOPSIS:

Pilot Episode: Welcome to Bare Essentials

April Harrington, a high school senior, gets a new job to pay for some school fund raising that will help her cash-strapped mom. At eighteen, she is just legal to work at Bare Essentials, A Florida strip club. To her surprise, April discovers that her new underwear gig is making a lot more money than she makes at the club.

Lauren Summers, a girl from the West Virginia hollers, finds herself abandoned by a worthless boyfriend. Out of desperation to find a new place to live, she starts work at Bare Essentials, where she meets Zeke, a redneck with some common roots. A race of 'Fast and Furious' cars outside the club ends in a violent crash, putting Zeke out of commission. Following his recovery, he convinces Lauren to make a 'moonshine' run with friendly cousin Colt. The run turns out to be a front for manufacturing meth and the product is deeply hidden within the Everglades. Both their lives are endangered.

Channelle, a street-wise home girl from the inner city, loses her job following the closure of a big box store. Finding work at Bare Essentials, she immediately becomes ensnared in the shady schemes of the club's owner, Vin Balone. Channelle offers Lauren a place to live in exchange for help with the rent. When Channelle's thuggish ex-boyfriend breaks into her apartment to threaten her, she is saved by Lauren who scares him off with a shotgun. Back at the club, trouble continues when Channelle meets Bernie, a lonely, nerdy tech guy who narrowly rescues her from being kidnapped by rival club owner Sabato Garcia. A fierce turf war has begun between Vin, Garcia, wealthy local businessman Rick Supredo, and Col. Jacques Mujombo, a Congolese strongman, who deals in rare gems and contraband.

Mujombo is ruthless when it comes to business. A deal goes down with a cut going to Garcia and his partner, Alejandro Hernandez. When Hernandez breaks with Garcia, objecting to their percentage, Mujombo solves the problem the only way he knows how- violently. Accusations of double dealing and mass double-cross deception follow with a culminating lethal explosion.
