Besides barren terrains and bad weather, cowpokes on this trail drive will have to face a dark evil.
SYNOPSIS:
Down steep valleys and up sharp ridges, spread the story of vicious gunslinger Buck Hendershot. Together with his bunch of mean outlaws, they shoot, rob, and kill everything that moves. Until one day, the intemperate one is betrayed by his gang and shot in the back. But it’s said that as even hell is not ready for him, his evil spirit haunts the prairies and hills, a furious rage claiming the life and souls of those who wronged him, and everybody else who stands in his way.

I'm liking this a lot. Don't know what the dialog is like, but you got my attention, but then, I was raised on westerns...not the psychological junk ones, but Ghost Riders in the Sky ones.

Oh yes, Jenean, I'm Brazilian, but I'm also a big fan of western movies. Thank you for your kind words.

Read the first 6 pages Marcos. A lot of dialog in that 6 page first scene. But the dialog is promissing and the short action sequence too Still, from here I guess things have to spead up, shorter scenes, less dialog and more action. Than again, just an opinion.

Hello Rutger. Actually, this is a short story, the intention is to start and end in these 6 pages. However, now that you mentioned, it's an interesting idea to try to develop it into a feature. Thank you for your comments!

This is a core situation, rather than a drama. It hits a number of the Western tropes. The story Cowpoke 2 tells should be acted out in present screen time. That is where the drama lies, of course. This is where you could mine the visual and emotional material, rather than a static image of two cowboys talking on horseback. Develop the story he tells and the characters in his story. You have presented telling, rather than showing a story. Please develop this further. I would read the next draft if that were offered.

Dry and brutal, just like the place this story takes place in. I can imagine putting this on my western watchlist.
