Fed up with her transphobic southern town and intolerant father, a cash-strapped, witty transgender woman relocates to San Francisco where she navigates homelessness while pursuing a career in stand-up comedy.
PK Vandegrift and E.M. Watson I like the idea of turning Laugh Like an Ally into a series--something like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel meets Euphoria. Thanks for your feedback! Cheers.
Crystal clear protagonist, incident, and goal. Only (minor) comment is whether 'navigating homelessness' could be a bit punchier. Like, 'battles with poverty and homelessness'...
Heather L McQuaid. I agree that the phrase "navigating homelessness" could be punchier --something like, "struggles to overcome the cycle of homelessness." That would definitely heighten the drama of the logline. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers!
Ryan, thanks for taking the time to rate my logline. I recently revised it to:
