Hello everyone. I have numerous scripts available that explore unique familial relationships, strange addictions and coping mechanisms, mostly with a female at the nucleus of the story. I have some full-length and some shorts ready to go. Happy to edit them further to support film, television or stage. If you are looking for something different, contact me to discuss. Full-length scripts include: STOIC - While a mother and daughter struggle to keep their heads above water as the global recessions forces them to be poorer than usual, their unique coping mechanisms are interrupted by a devilish debt collector, who is left at the centre of it all! Roses for My Daughter - An estranged mother arrives on her daughter's doorstep to meet her granddaughter, bringing a string of family secrets along, as she attempts to break a destructive family circle. L'Apache' Rose - A daughter learns of a web of family crimes that have paved her life's path. To survive beyond the insanity, she will need to use her family curse as a blessing. A Moment of Innocence - When a young lady is found unconscious on a beach in Bermuda, a couple celebrating the local holiday and two day cricket match, Cup Match, will get more than they bargained for, or maybe the innocent woman will! Shut Up and Drink - Rum Swizzle, drugs and parties - sounds like a perfect visit to the island of Bermuda? Only if you know who you are partying with! Short scripts: Circle - The wife of a serial murderer comes to grips with her husband's ugly crimes, and face to face with his victims (based on a true story)/ Stranger Things Have Happened - A family is affected by rebel war in Mali. (French and English parts) The Eye: A Social Experiment - A social experiment on the effects of a party addiction gets totally out of hand for a young undercover reporter, as she realises that she hasn't faced her university social demons. Interview with Death - Strangers interview for their right to die through suicide. Are they victims or simply exercising their human right of choice? The Face: Tunnel of Roses - While a family surrounds the bed of an unconscious suicide victim, the people of her past try to guide her towards the light. Famous - A playwright struggles to complete a script for a notable competition, but he is forced to cope with a string of unexpected interruptions. How does a baby delivered by an overly-friendly courier worker, a jealous girlfriend, a one-night stand from hell, and a pushy best friend that is determined to watch the game sound? (comedy) Happy to discuss any of these projects with a view to take them further than my laptop! :) Open to all areas of media exposure: Film, Theatre, Stage or Radio. Open to location.
Congrats.

I used similar contracts in a different business I owned, unrelated to screenwriting or films. Always protect yourself first. Then, your creation is safe and yours.
Get ready for other contracts (options, assignments, sales, etc) that may come your way.
I was also an IT Project Manager and worked with the legal team for a big pharma business. I know contracts.

I've signed a few. As John and A.S. mentioned, though - make sure you run it by a lawyer, if need be. The language can be tricky sometimes. Don't rely on registering your script to protect you. Lawsuits are expensive and the other guy might have deeper pockets.

Expand commentyea that sounds off but long as its not bonding you for a long time and u got a couple scripts under your belt go for it what do you got to lose? now if you feel its your best script or only script then that tells you he not the one to make it happen with. a producer must understand the potential client do to when he or she is new affordable and profitable for them. a director helps the writer an actor express them selves to just get it all out example Tyler Perry Janet Jackson. depending on what type of writer you are you got to ask your self is it about the money or your point of view of the topic you pitch meaing how much do the screenplay really mean to you. my model if you wrote one hit film you cant write another its like when jay z said i herd people saying they made hov so he said ok make another hov in response of him leaving the roc point is do u respect his work enough for you idea what do you consider him a rock or a mountain ? best of luck to you.!!!!!
sound like you u need a director a lender or a literary agent
Them's the rules.
