http://fuelshack.com.my/ We carried this shoot out during our stay at a volunteer hostel. To add to the fun the whole hostel was there for the shoot along besides our dearest friend Marco helping us out with the shoot. We started with the kitchen and were so tempted every now and then to try out the burgers.. next we moved on to serving.. We had the first half set aside for food porn and the second have for general shot including our friends from the hostel and other people joining in the fun... Around 4 onwards we have the friends over and well.. we all started eating and experiencing the awesome fuel shack burger... I am personally in love with the beef burger.. For me it really did redefine the burger :) Thank you everyone for supporting us for this shoot. Was good fun and what shoot is happening if there is no fun yaa.. Didn't really know how the overall feel would come out to be at first. The voice over came out to be really nice and I did my part on doing a bit of research, recce and planning the shots but in the end what came out is combined effort of everyone. http://www.pinnaclehotels.com/hotelsite/pinnacle/samui/ we stayed in Pinnacle for almost two weeks while shooting and putting this video together alongside enjoying the resort and its people.. This place is just so magical – clam, friendly personnel, full relax. Didn't miss the breakfast a single day and afterwards enjoyed trying different food at the restaurant The people who come to this hotel are look just relax and it means more of smooth persons around you, no any night noise. The pool is beautiful and cozy and has a awesome place where you could look out into the sea. The massage and spa staff are just amazingly happy :) one of theme always decorated this set of flowers floating on top of water. The beach is nice and clean with a nice rocky view on the left.. ko phaghan island in front an open Samui sea side on the right. The beach is being cleaned every day, you do need to afraid to get any problems during walking without shoes. The house we stayed and the whole walk through maze is separate story, it's a garden for your soul! Green, green and green! With all this pathway going in different direction. The house was completely wooden and quiet big with a separate working desk, big enough for 2, a walking ward robe, a nice wood patio looking out in the garden with a sitting area, enough light and open glass window - basically its was a magical house in a soulful garden. Last but the most coolest were the beings there - from the sweet receptionists to the smily house keeping lady to "New" the head waitress to Mike the GM - he also is another story. Its always nice to meet and work with such people. Mike was so down to earth and cool guy with Moc the bird with him everyday in the morning and at times later too. He is one of the beauties of this place, hats off. Thank you everyone for your support throughout our stay at Pinnacle Samui Resort - it was wonderful. http://www.langkawilassie.org.my The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary Foundation is set-up to receive, rehabilitate and care for neglected, abused and needy animals. The organization also runs the Langkawi Island Animal Clinic – a charity project aimed at the sterilization of the stray cat & dog population. Both are non profit ventures, staffed partly by volunteers and aimed at improving the lives of unwanted animals. The Sanctuary aims for a no-kill policy and cares for animals whose age, disposition or disability make them unlikely to find homes. Many of our animals are road accident or trauma cases and therefore need special love and attention. These animals are given the opportunity to live out their lives with dignity. Stray cats on the streets – the main issue here in Langkawi – are trapped and sterilized, then returned to their normal habitat. In this way the Sanctuary hopes to control the stray population. An adoption centre is also in operation. Animals put up for adoption are spayed/neutered, dewormed and vaccinated. Any wildlife brought to the shelter are treated and once healthy are then returned back to nature. One of the centre’s objectives is to educate adults & children to ensure their peaceful co-existence with both their wild neighbours as well as domestic animals. An education programme with all schools on the island is currently being designed. Na the founder of the place started off selling food by delivering packed food to office after she came to ko samui from bangkok. From there she started her own little stall which went on to have a few tables. 4 years down the lane - Khaw Glong is her baby which she takes care of in every way to the tiniest details. She goes shopping every day to make sure everything is fresh and prepares the food and cooks along with her staff. She is one amazing person and we are glad that the universe made us come across her. Now as for the food, it is just out class - just go their early though as they are small and most of the time very busy and booked. The best Tom Yum soup so far, great king prawns with garlic sauce, the best fried rice I ever had, all served by a friendly and a very friendly english speaking staff. The tamarind sauce and the chicken pandan sauce is a must try. We wish Na all the best for the future. Stay the way you are.
