I don't know if you're on Twitter at all, but if you are, you may have seen the #shareyourrejections campaign that flew through the Twittersphere recently. The posts look something like this:

Share Your Rejections What Are Your Most Memorable

I loved it.

I loved it so much, I captured some of the very best rejections from filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, and authors with the intention to share them here. You'll recognize some of the names. At the very least, hearing how these creatives were given "the hand" only to come out on top, you'll get a dose of inspiration.

Hearing NO doesn't mean you suck. Hardly. It just means no at that moment.

I had a business coach tell me once, "You'll have to go through 15 no's before you get to a yes. So stop whining and pick up the phone. You'll never get to that yes otherwise."

The bastard was right.

I'm gonna share some more. And then, I want you to share your most memorable rejection with us. Some may have a happy ending. Some may not. No matter. Rejection is part of the landscape here. Let's embrace it, use it to our advantage, and move on toward a win.

Here are some more from Twitter:
