We did it. We are rounding the corner of the last lap and the 2020 finish line is in sight. This year has been one for the books here at Stage 32. Some highlights:

• We have welcomed more than 100,000 members to the site since March
• There were over 500 individual meetings between Stage 32 creatives and industry leaders
• There were over 3,000 scripts requested by industry professionals through Stage 32
• Chick Fight, a film incubated through Stage 32, from the original pitch to distribution, was released and stars Malin Akerman, Bella Thorne, and Alec Baldwin

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. As we push into the content gold rush that is 2021, we are hosting a career development week here at Stage 32 to help you conquer your creative career next year. First up, Film Courage recently sat down with Jeff Deverett, a director and producer with three movies currently on Netflix. Jeff very recently sold one of his films to Netflix, and he walks you through the process from pitching to distribution. Next up, Outstanding Screenplays has compiled 10 screenwriting tips from Emmy and Golden Globe-winning screenwriter Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve). She talks about using comedy as a vehicle for drama, writing relatable characters, writing as if you are writing in a diary, and more.
