Let's Celebrate Stage 32's 1 Million Member Milestone! Featured in Variety!

Hi, Stage 32ers!

As many of you know, we had a massive celebration this year at Cannes, where we announced our 1 Million Member Milestone at our party in partnership with Variety!

This is a milestone that means the world to me, Amanda, and the rest of our team here at Stage 32. When I started on the journey of creating Stage 32 12 years ago, I never could have imagined how this community would grow and become not just a network and support system for creatives all over the world, but for many of us a family, a tribe. Together we’ve been able to cross divides, create opportunities, build worlds, and conquer dreams. That’s due to the commitment that you all have made to your craft and to each other.

Variety further captured this special moment in Stage 32’s history by releasing a front-page story this past Friday! In the article, Variety describes Stage 32 as:

“Stage 32, the social network designed to support TV and film professionals in more than 185 countries, has reached the milestone of 1 million members as the company expands its offerings.

The service was founded in 2011 by Richard “RB” Botto, an actor, producer and screenwriter. The platform features global job boards and 3,000 hours of webinars, classes and labs to support a wide range of entertainment industry careers, including above- and below-the-line disciplines.

Among the top markets for Stage 32 are the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, South Africa, India, Saudi Arabia, Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia.”

While all of that is correct, it’s this outstanding community that makes Stage 32 what it is. I’m so humbled to be at the forefront of a community of individuals who lift each other up when things get hard, celebrate each other’s victories, and support each other’s aspirations. I’m inspired every day by your creativity and tenacity. It's your championing of Stage 32 that has made it possible for us to reach wider across the globe to help educate and connect creatives and executives from all backgrounds and walks of life. You’re the reason we’ve managed to reach 1 million members!

I thought of you all when I gave Variety this quote:

“From the beginning, the mission of Stage 32 has been to democratize the entertainment industry by leveling the playing field for film and television creatives worldwide. It is humbling and rewarding to not only see our community grow to 1 million strong, but also witness so many of our members find career success through the opportunities we present on the platform,” Botto said.

“With so much toxicity on the broad based social network platforms, I’m overjoyed to see so many creatives and professionals finding a safe haven on Stage 32. Our membership growth has accelerated greatly as a result,” he said. “By offering full transparency and the promise of community first, our members are not only making meaningful connections, but accelerating their career path through our education and marketplace.”
