Stage 32 is proud to announce a new vlog series hosted by Stage 32 Thought Leader and Business Consultant, David Zannoni, from Freeway Entertainment and Zannoni Media. In this series, TALKING BUSINESS: Insights from the Independent Film Industry, David will bring you in-depth conversations on the behind-the-scenes of filmmaking with industry veterans.

In today's vlog, David speaks with Gregg Ramer, a Seasoned Entertainment Transactional Attorney, about the different industry deals you'll make as a filmmaker or producer, including CAM Agreements, aka how you pay people when you make money on your film. Gregg has advised clients on the development, production, financing, acquisition, distribution, marketing, and exploitation of motion pictures, television properties, evolving media, video games, merchandising, and branded entertainment. He has also assisted clients in the formation and governance of business entities and the perfection of secured property interests. Gregg was previously an attorney with the Directors Guild of America and practiced as an associate at two major international law firms. Prior to his legal career, he worked in numerous facets of the entertainment business including production, story development, and distribution.

David is a long-time member of Stage 32 and has worked in film and television since 2007 as an international consultant, representative, and executive producer. He runs the consultancy firm Zannoni Media and is a consultant for North America for Freeway Entertainment, a global leader in collection account management and escrow services for the international film and TV industries. He's also taught multiple webinars through Stage 32, as well as writing blog posts on a range of topics, and hosting AMAs in the lounges.

Be sure to let us know what you think of the first vlog in this new series!
