I would say though, because unless you are auditioning for a play, you don't have the whole script, so you don't have anything to work with except what is on the sides. For me, I find something in my own life that relates to the scene and use that as motivation. It doesn't have to be "right," just truthful.

Sometimes the most truthful moment is the one where nothing is forced — where the character simply exists. That quiet space can feel vulnerable, but it often reveals the deepest emotional reality.
