With his life torn to shreds by false accusations from a student, his wife cheating on him with his psychiatrist and then kicking him out of the house, Jack must now address how he has been coping, by drinking and drugging. Trying his best, depressed and distraught, Jack living at home with his berating belittling mother and his eccentric adopted Korean brother, struggles through the day shelving books for the odd, but likable Saul Goldberg at "The Lion of Judah" used bookstore. In his spare time Jack attends twelve-step meetings and with the help of his schizophrenic 12-step sponsor, Ron-Hal, learns some unusual coping mechanisms. Finally ,in desperation to find meaning, he begins working on the children's book he's been promising himself to write and at the same time Saul hires a new employee, the quirky, sarcastic Mona Bertam whom he hits it off with. Maybe, just maybe things will turn around for Jack Kopecky. FIND US AT: www.facebook.com/lightenupjack IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6111238
