I'm excited to join the Stage 32 community and provide whatever guidance and experience from 30 years in the film & TV business I can, and hopefully learn some new stuff too! I'm probably best known as the creator of the SHARKNADO franchise, but I've mostly been a writer/director of less campy, more grounded science fiction and action films. I'm a graduate of NYU Film and also served my time working for the legendary Roger Corman during my early years in Hollywood. I'm currently developing several series, including two popular book series I'm adapting; and shopping two feature films: one a campy follow-up to Sharknado and the other a darker, more serious sci-fi thriller. I look forward to becoming part of the Stage 32 community!
