Just wanted to announce that my script "The Mall" (fka "MALLED") just won first place in the thriller genre of one competition and made the finals (so far) in another.

Just curious... why can't you write the script? From my experience... you'll first need to write it. Unless you're a known, produced writer with credits and an agent etc. or you have a relative who adores you in the biz, the studios (the assistant that answers the phones, anyway) won't even listen to your pitch. They legally can't. So, after you finish the script, pay for coverage from at least one reputable produced writer (or company), rewrite it , submit it to the top competitions that give feedback, rewrite it, write the best high concept logline and query letter possible, pay for feedback on that and rewrite it, register it with the LOC and/or WGA, do your research as to what prodcos do your genre and/or will even accept queries, send the query out and hope for the best. If anyone is seriously interested and options it, great. That's when the real rewrites begin!
