One of the best ever of your events. Pete is not only whip smart and hugely experienced, but his manner and way pf presenting were totally engaging. Kudos!
That was an amazing event! Thank you!
Thanks, Peter! Your webinar was inspiring. I'm thinking about my "personal connections now (included on the weekend lounge blog). Jerry
Hi All, I've listed a few projects, posted an update, been to a meetup, scheduled a pitch. Stage 32 seems like a great community, but I'm nowhere near maximizing its potential, for me from you and from me to you. Blessings, Ian

And I agree, there's SO much opportunity here for you to meet incredible creatives/collaborators, learn, and find opportunities. Keep on contributing to lounge posts and building your network. And while you're at it, I encourage you to check out some of the education we've been putting together. I bet there's a lot available on demand that can be helpful to what you're working towards.
What kind of project are you pitching?
Harrison, I'm currently raising equity for FlakkaZmovie.com. But I've got several projects, including Fool Circle that's set during the 2003 California Recall Election, so now I'm brainstorming how to take advantage of the 2021 California Recall Election because the circus is back in town.
Excited to announce my feature directorial debut. Flakka Z is teen thriller with diverse cast based on the real "zombie drug" Flakka. Now equity funding at FlakkaZmovie.com. Legal disclaimers there.
This is the same as Prey for Mason, seen below.
I wrote a screenplay about a Western and I got a lot of great feedback. Unfortunately some of the feedback I got was that Westerns aren't in fashion right now. Wish someone would have told me that before I spent almost a year writing and researching it. Any suggestions on what a good topic to write...

Seems like Hollywood is just rehashing a lot of movies/stories that have already been told.
Philip Sedgwick that makes sense since the Doolin-Dalton gang were from Oklahoma. Very cool!
The Sister Brothers is a western.
Good scripts are always in fashion.
Saying hi for the first time. I'm a filmmaker living in Los Angeles, currently writing a monster comedy. I just got notes on my teen comedy, so that's due for a major overhaul. I just directed a short comedy called "Don't Talk About Jesus!" that won Best Audience at the 168 Hour Film Festival. I'm a...

I just directed a short comedy called "Don't Talk About Jesus!" that won Best Audience at the 168 Hour Film Festival. I'm attached to direct a teen horror/thriller PREY FOR MASON (formerly FLAKKA Z for which we're seeking financing. And I'm a working stunt coordinator with a dozen features under my belt.
Thanks for this community. I look forward to sharing all y'all's joys and struggles.

"PREY FOR MASON" is a feature length psychological horror film that blurs the lines between fiction and reality. Five teenagers partying at a lake house are terrorized by an unwelcome friend who takes a zombie prank too far, but they learn that he accidentally overdosed on the bath salt Flakka that makes victims animalistic.
“RUN CHOLO RUN” is an action-thriller feature about a brave Marine injured in battle who returns to the tough L.A. hood he left where his gang family shame him into teaching them military tactics for their battle with a rival gang. He must choose faith in the God of second chances to overcome his self-loathing as a gangster and adopt the Marine honor code once again.
“SMASH AND RUN” is a “Fast and Furious on foot” action feature set in multi-cultural Koreatown, L.A. where a know-it-all teenaged Freerunner decides to single-handedly catch a smash-and-grab crew targeting his family’s diamond business, but he unwittingly awakens an old gang rivalry between his apparently weak step-father and a power hungry city councilwoman.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
