His drama STILL LIFE was recently announced as a top 10 finalist in Table Read My Screenplay's 2021 Virtual Genre competition, where it was beaten in that category by the overall grand prize winner. It was also a quarterfinalist in Stage 32's 2nd Annual Feature Drama Screenwriting Contest

His comic thriller DOUBLE INDIANA is a Finalist in Oaxaca's 2021 Film Fest, won the Texas Film Institute screenplay competition, was a top 5 finalist in the Industry Next competition, quarterfinaled in the Launch Pad Fresh Voices competition with a Spotlight Award nomination for Best Dialogue, and won a mentorship with A-list scribe Andrew Baldwin.

His historical drama THE BOOK OF REVENGE won Best in Genre in Table Read My Screenplay's L.A. competition, won Coverage, Ink's "Get Repped Now" competition, was a quarter-finalist in Austin Film Festival's script competition and a quarter-finalist in the Industry Next competition, and received Honorable Mention in the Screenplay Festival competition.

His comic adventure WE REGRET TO INFORM YOU received a "Recommend" from Coverage, Ink, Honorable Mention in the 2015 Screenplay Festival competition, placed in the top 50 scripts in Tracking Board's 2015-2016 Launch Pad Competition.

His spec pilot INVADERS was one of the winners of Coverage, Ink's "Get Repped Now" competition. His pilot IMPERIUM was a top 25 semi-finalist in the Emerging Screenwriters Genre Competition.

His spec screenplay THE ASSASSIN'S DAUGHTER received "Recommend" coverage from and was a quarter-finalist in the Emerging Screenwriters Genre Competition.
