Set in the near future, can an Astrology major earn a good living with this degree or is his father right about wasting his time in college?
SYNOPSIS:
It’s Liam Buchanan’s graduation day. He is in the dorm room with Emma, his mother. Liam complains about Emma inviting her first husband, Artie, Liam’s father. Liam knows Artie will kill the mood.
Artie arrives. Artie asks a question within a couple of minutes. Artie doesn’t like the answer and gives Liam some of his wisdom. Liam simply gives Emma an “I told you so” look.
Liam puts on his regalia and shows how an avatar will appear above him. Artie calls the avatar stupid. Liam ignores Artie.
In the auditorium Emma shows Artie how to retrieve information about the program and Liam. Artie doesn’t like what he sees.
They get back to the dorm room. Artie tells Liam he wasted ¼ of a million dollars and four years of his life to get a degree in Astrology. Emma intervenes and stops Artie from complaining.
Liam gets a briefing about his new job.
The business and Liam’s career does well. Ten years later astrology is an important part of business decisions.
Artie’s construction company gets a contract because of astrological reading. Artie is happy for the business but knows the days of construction workers doing construction are numbered.
Artie is with Emma in a ball room. Liam is celebrating the start of his own business. Artie wasn’t happy with robots doing construction so he sold his business and retired. Artie isn’t sure Liam made the right decision but Emma tells him Liam has done very well for himself.
Artie never admits Liam made the right education decision. Liam is happy Artie no longer questions him about his decisions.

My main takeaway is don't ask for advice from anyone who gave this longline 5 stars.
