Sort of. I had thought about putting it there. But ultimately we are looking to work with someone. Not someone to work for us. But if we don't see any responses I will post it there.

Big questions.

Hello I am David Damen //. I am a cinematographer based out of Ohio. I wanted to ask a few questions on here geared toward fellow shooters. How busy do you stay? This year I have been fortunate enough to be busy every month. This took about 6 years to to reach a point like this. If you stay busy wha...

If you're completely happy with the level of job, insurance, and workplace conduct that you're operating on, no. I joined because I was tired of chasing down checks and fighting for basic things with unscrupulous feature producers.

Nepotism is the established and proven best way to succeed in the industry. Without that, finding shoots is, with few exceptions, an outgrowth of who you know. Work comes from personal contacts. Peopl...

"We make pictures to please ourselves, others are merely allowed to share." what a profound statement. I agree with so much of what you are saying.

Use every job, large or small, as a building block to where you want to be. You might want to take some risks on things that make you stretch...grow.

with not having the ability to make my projects full time I found that small projects are a good filler. While I was developing my recent short film I shot a 13 episode web series in my house.

Getting your project featured on the Indigogo home page.

Since the failure of my first Idiegogo campaign I have been traveling around the US holding meetings with anyone I can. I wanted to learn how other people succeed. I read every book, blog, article, and email I could on the matter. Today my team just got the news that our film FRiEND (working Title)...

Is Final Draft Still King?

Hey there everybody! I'm Heather, singer, ex novelist (maybe just on a 10 year hiatus), and have 5 unfinished scripts/projects beckoning to me on an hourly basis... My baby is ready for revisions and tightening, thusly I am ready to invest in a professional formatting program. Final Draft seemed to...

The reason FD is still 'king' is the integration with other preproduction programs including MM and other budgeting, breakdown, and storyboarding software.

I got my hard drive on my old laptop fixed because it had my only version of Final Draft. Now I'm treating my old laptop with kid gloves because I can't afford to lose FD again. I was so thrilled to g...

I was able to upgrade Mike's FD since he previously registered his broken CD copy. We use PC's and installed on my laptop too, since the license includes up to 2.

I´ve read several times it would be best to always work on several projects at the same time so I wanted to ask you on how many projects you guys are currently working on? Sci-Fi's are my favorite. The feature I am doing after this next one is the most unique Sci-Fi I have come across. Good luck, finishing a feature script is no easy task. I am thankful I have writing teams otherwise I could never finish them.

I love action. I love anything but Zombies really. Action can be really good if you think outside of the box like.

I actively try to mix and match my projects... my heart always sinks when people say you have to specialise to get anywhere. I'm working on everything from ebooks for children to poetry to tv scripts to screenplays and blogs. But, er, speaking as an unknown writer - perhaps they're right!
